I hope the video above is self explanatory and leaves no doubts as for how powerful your mining equipment must be.
Still, the question might arise:
Does it make sense at all to mine on my home pc or even mobile device?
Yes and No. “No”, if you want to do “independent” mining. For this you would need an equipment far beyond what is called “home PC”.
From the other hand: “Yes”, if you’d like to take advantage of the mining pools or contracts that combine power of hundreds or even thousands of home computers to mine.
Please, note, there are multitudes of scam-like program owners who sell so called “mining contracts” and supposedly if you buy into this, you kind of rent part of that “mining farm” equipment which includes hardware, electricity being consumed etc.
What happens in reality is that no real farm exists and the pay-outs come from new referrals only. This is a perfect example of a money pyramid or scam. Stay away from this as far as possible as this will end up pretty badly sooner or later.
From the other hand, that does not mean that there are no real “mining farms”. They DO exist and they DO have valid and working mining contracts. Usually that contract’s price starts from $100 and far beyond.
Also, there’s a good news for the little guy who wants to participate in mining without an investment.
Watch the “Computta” video for brief explanation:
Computta is a good example of such mining solution. If you’d like to use your mobile device power to mine, try MinerGate as an option.
Well, and here’s the last piece of advice: dedicate time to study cryptocurrencies, bitcoin and mining if you don’t want to be taken away by big promises of easy income. Yes, it takes a little bit of your time in the beginning, but that education might pay off quickly.
